Sensory Design Advisory & Creative Direction
This work sits at the intersection of sensory thinking and creative direction. I work with individuals, brands, and organisations who want spaces and experiences to feel considered, intentional, and emotionally intelligent. The focus is not on surface styling, but on how an environment is experienced and used.
The work often spans retail, education, real estate, hospitality, events, launches, and spatial environments where atmosphere and emotional response are key.
We apply a sensory lens to each project, with particular attention to colour, materiality, texture, sound, and light, helping shape spaces that support clarity, comfort, and connection.

Projects
Some projects are advisory only, offering clarity, direction, and a sensory framework at an early stage. Others extend into creative direction and delivery, drawing on over 25 years of experience as a stylist and creative director.
This is not interior design, and it is not a decorating service. Work is offered selectively and varies by project and timing. If you’re exploring a space or experience that would benefit from a calmer, more considered sensory approach, you can enquire below.
Who It’s For
This work is for people and organisations making considered decisions about spaces and experiences, where how something feels matters as much as how it looks.
I work with founders, creative leads, developers, and individuals with a clear sense of taste who want a calmer, more intentional sensory outcome. This may include hospitality, retail, real estate, events, or launches. Clients come with decisions to make, not ideas to be handed over, and value an experienced creative perspective grounded in sensory design, with a focus on colour, materials, texture, sound, and light.

Why The Sensory Home®
The Sensory Home® was founded by Pippa Jameson to bring a more considered, human approach to how spaces are experienced. With over 25 years working across publishing, television, and brand-led environments, the work sits at the intersection of creative direction, styling, and sensory design.
Pippa’s experience spans residential, retail, and experiential projects, with collaborations including Graham & Brown, Heal’s, DFS, and Hillarys, alongside media work with ITV, BBC and national press. This depth of practice informs a grounded, practical understanding of how colour, materials, texture, sound, and light shape mood and behaviour.
The publication of The Sensory Home® helped formalise sensory design as a recognised design approach, now referenced across publishing, retail, and international media. Today, the studio’s work focuses on applying that thinking with intention — supporting decisions that lead to calmer, more sustainable spaces and experiences.
